Sino-European Usability Center (SEUC) is located in Dalian and leader in China in the fields of Usability Research and Consulting. SEUC has been founded in 2000 as the first company in China with the support of the EU projects EU FP5, EU Asia-IT&C and China-EU S&T. Together with its research partner NCR-DMU Human Computer Interaction Research Centre of the Dalian Maritime University, SEUC has specialised in the development of user centred design. Their activities comprise of Usability and User Experience Research, studies of user behaviour, development of prototypes and improvements of interactive systems.

TecEd is one of the leading User Experience Consulting companies in the US. Stephanie Rosenbaum founded it in 1967 as a one-woman business for data processing services. She concentrated on HCI (Human-Computer-Interaction) and managed to follow the development from the mainframe computer to the tablet PC. Today, TecEd is an established company with 13 employees and three offices in the US: Ann Arbor (Michigan), Palo Alto (California) and Rochester (New York). TecEd specialises on research and design of user centred interfaces and information architecture of technical devices as well as web, software and e-commerce applications.
The Austrian Association of the blind and visually impaired is committed to improve the living conditions of blind and visually impaired people since more than 75 years. Reducing barriers in accessing information- and communication technologies, products and services and raising awareness for accessibility is a focus of their work.
The requirements of blind and visually impaired people need to be considered in the development of products and services, from the beginning to the realisation. The Hilfsgemeinschaft campaigns for awareness of researchers, developers and sponsors and offers consulting for the implementation of accessibility.
We work together with the Hilfsgemeinschaft in our accessibility projects and are glad for the help they offer, in recruiting testpersons/experts and in supply of appropriate technologies.
